tiempo de luces...light time

Si sois de Madrid o estáis de paso por aquí ya habréis visto que las luces para esta Navidad ya están en la mayoría de calles instaladas, el encendido dará comienzo esta semana, el próximo día 28 de Noviembre y durara hasta el día 6 de enero. 

If you are from Madrid or you are just passing through here and have seen the lights for Christmas already on most streets installed, the ignition will start this week, on the 28th of November until January 6.

Madrid se llena de luz y arte, con diseños de algunos de los modistos, arquitectos y diseñadores mas relevantes del panorama nacional. Por ejemplo, Ángel Schlesser, en Princesa; Ana Locking, en Jorge Juan; Teresa Sapey, en Velázquez y Montera; Purificación García, en Plaza Mayor y zona centro; Hannibal Laguna, en la calle Mayor; Ben Busche (calle Arenal, Preciados, Carrera de San Jerónimo, calles Hileras, Fuentes, Milaneses, Santiago, Escalinata y Mesón de Paños, Ballesta y alrededores); y Roberto Turégano, en calle Alcalá (tramo de Cibeles a la Puerta de Alcalá) son algunos de ellos. Otros que tambien repiten son Davidelfin, Roberto Torreta, Juanjo Oliva o Amaya Arzuaga.

Madrid is full of light and art, with designs from some of the designers and architects more relevant on the national scene. For example, Angel Schlesser, in Princesa street; Ana Locking in Jorge Juan; Teresa Sapey in Velázquez and Montera; Purificacion Garcia, Plaza Mayor and downtown area; Hannibal Laguna, on Main Street; Ben Busche (Calle Arenal, Atlantico, Carrera de San Jerónimo, Fuentes, Milanese, Santiago, Escalinata and Meson de Paños, Ballesta and vicinity); and Roberto Turégano, in Alcalá (section from Cibeles to the Puerta de Alcalá) are some of them. Others who are also repeat are Davidelfin, Roberto Torreta, Juanjo Oliva and Amaya Arzuaga.

Además, este año se incorporan nuevos diseños de luces, como los de Victorio & Luchino en la calle Goya; Adolfo Domínguez en la calle Serrano; Ben Busche, en Gran Vía y el nuevo diseño del Belén de Puerta de Alcalá o Sergio Sebastián (plaza de Chueca y calle Fuencarral).

Also this year, new lighting designs are incorporated, such as Victorio & Luchino at Goya street; Adolfo Dominguez at Serrano; Ben Busche, Gran Vía and Sergio Sebastián (Plaza de Chueca and Fuencarral street).

Por lo que si vais a disfrutar de Madrid en estos días, os recomiendo poder disfrutar de estos espacios creados por la moda y arte.

So if you are going to enjoy Madrid these days, I recommend to enjoy these spaces created by fashion and art.

persiguiendo una ilusion...chasing an illusion

Hoy me quería sumar a todas aquellas personas que ilusionadas persiguen un sueño, el sueño para que Madrid sea olímpico en 2020.

Como español y madrileño no habría mayor ilusión que mañana el comité olímpico se decantase por seleccionar a Madrid. 

Today I wanted to add to all those who pursue a hopeful dream, the dream to make Madrid 2020 Olympic city.

As Spanish and from Madrid would have more hope that tomorrow the olympic committee selecting to Madrid as the city for the following 2020 olimpics games.

Creo que seria una gran injeccion de optimismo para todos teniendo en cuenta los tiempos que corren, si ya se que es a muy largo plazo pero estoy supondría que la economía se reactivase un poco, y se empiece a creer puesto de trabajo. 

Este blog que esta inspirado  y orientado en la moda, no seria magnifico que nuestras selecciones olímpicas se vistan con equipaciones diseñadas por alguno de los magníficos diseñadores de moda españoles. El ultimo en vestir a un equipo de fútbol ha sido Roberto Verino que viste al Atletico de Madrid.

Puesto a soñar después de la controvertida equipacion olímpica de las ultimas olimpiadas, al equipo de rítmica vestidos por Davidelfin, o las chicas de natación sincronizada con unos bañadores de Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, entre otros tenemos mucho donde elegir.

I think it would be a great Injection of optimism thinking and considering the hard times we are living, if I know it's a very long term but this would reactivate the economy a bit, and start creating jobs.

This blog is inspired and oriented in  fashion, it would be magnificent to our Olympic teams dress designed by one of the great Spanish fashion designers. The ultimate in dress a football team has been Roberto Verino to Atletico de Madrid football team.

Since dreaming after the controversial Olympic equipation last Olympics games, rhythmic team dresses by Davidelfin , or the girls of  synchronized swimming with a  swimwear of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, among others have much choice.

calendario de la moda.... fashion calendar

Este es el ultimo fin de semana de agosto, parece mentira lo rápido que ha pasado el verano, el próximo lunes nos metemos de lleno en Septiembre, y con ello muchos de nosotros volveremos a la rutina, trabajo, colegios, en fin obligaciones. En resumen entrar un poco en la monotonía diaria pensando de nuevo en la próximas vacaciones.

Con la vuelta a los colegios, las mil y una colecciones que nos avasallan desde los kioskos de prensa, el barco por piezas, minerales de la tierra, etc, etc.  En Septiembre algo bueno también tenia que suceder para todos los seguidores de moda. Se dan cita muchas de las pasarelas mundiales, por lo que hay mucho que ver y pocos días.

This is the last weekend of August, can not believe how quickly the summer has passed, next Monday we get fully in September, and with it many of us back to the routine, work, school, in order obligations. In short get a little daily monotony thinking back on the next holidays.


With the return to school, the thousand and one collections overwhelm us from newspaper kiosks, the boat parts, earth minerals, etc, etc. In September also had something good to happen for all fashion followers. It brings together many of the world's catwalks, so much to see and a few days.

Empezamos con la New York Fashion week del 5 al 12, siendo un poco patrióticos me apunto el día 5 Desigual y el 8 Custo Barcelona, la colección de Lacoste para el día 7, Y3 al día siguiente domingo 8, lunes 9 Carolina Herrera y DKNY, martes 10 Margiela, y para cerrar Nueva York Polo Ralph Lauren el día 12.

Del 13 al 17 coinciden London Fashion week y la Madrid Fashion week. Aqui la oferta y variedad es muy amplia por lo que resulta difícil reducir el numero de desfiles. 

Lo mas destacado en Madrid. Arrancamos con Victorio y Lucchino, el sabado 10 AA de Amaya Arzuaga, el domingo Francis Montesinos y cerramos el lunes con Carlos Diez, aunque me quedo con todos y cada uno de los desfiles.

En Londres para empezar con un buen sabor de boca el domingo 15 con Paul Smith y Manolo Blanhik, el lunes 16 Tom Ford y cerramos con algo mas deportivo la colección de Stella McCartney para Adidas.

Ahora comienza el rock and roll, 15 días donde es difícil seleccionar un único desfile, del 18 al 23 Milan Fashion week, del 24 al 2 de octubre Paris Fashion week ready to wear.

Aquí os dejo un calendario con alguno de los desfiles mas interesantes, bueno para mi. Aunque hay mucho por ver. También os dejo los links para que veáis el calendario al completo y os podáis organizar.

vogue fashion's night out

Muchos y muchas sois los que habéis hablado de este evento que se celebro a nivel mundial el pasado día 6 de Septiembre, este año me gustaría agradecer a Vogue la iniciativa de ampliar el radio de acción en Madrid incluyendo ademas de la zona del barrio de Salamanca por antonomasia a las Salesas-Fuencarral, punto neuralgico de compras mas streat wear style.

Este evento me parece una iniciativa muy interesante, aparte de darse a conocer las nuevas propuestas para la próxima temporada, descuentos en compras, sorteos, sorpresas, música en vivo, detalles para sus clientes. Que esta muy bien. 

Me gustaría mencionar las propuestas de Prada y Missoni, la primera donando un porcentaje de las ventas a la fundación Sandra Ibarra, y Missoni poniendo a  la venta un anillo solidario, un anillo de caucho multicolor con clásica funda de la casa en encaje raschel  apoyando a  la fundación Edode Onlus de ayuda a Mali. 

Many of you are those who have spoken of this event which was celebrated worldwide on last 6th of September, this year I would like to thank Vogue initiative to expand the range in Madrid including the area besides the Salamanca district by quintessential to Salesas-Fuencarral most shopping neuralgic point of streat wear style.

This event seems like a very interesting initiative, apart from the disclosure of the new proposals for next season, shopping discounts, giveaways, surprises, live music, gifts for their customers. That is very good.
I would like to mention for Prada and Missoni 

proposals

 , the first one has donated a percentage of sales to Sandra Ibarra foundation, and Missoni by selling solidarity multicolor rubber ring covert with classic house raschel supporting Onlus Edode foundation for Mali.

Aquí os dejo algunas de las imágenes de lo que sucedió en Fuencarral donde la calle fue una fiesta continua, con un montón de dj's, conciertos en directo, mojitos, cocktails, cava, etc.

Here you have some images of what happened in Fuencarral where the street was a continuous party, with lots of DJs, live music, mojitos, cocktails, champagne, etc.
