Con post del pasado dia 12, dia que arranco el mundial quería haber dejado cerradas las publicaciones con colecciones capsula sobre moda y fútbol. Pero me es imposible dejar pasar la que esta el momento me parece la mejor edición limitada con motivo del mundial de fútbol Brasil 2014.

No utiliza una bandera o sus colores como enseña para plasmar el espíritu de un país para dotar a sus prendas de la identidad del país que representa.

Esta colección capsula creada por Bikkembergs con el nombre "Second to no one", algo que viene a representar el espíritu ganador, competitivo y de superación, nada de segundones, compuesta diez modelos que representan a diez países, la colección de zapatillas esta   renombrada e  inspirada en elementos característicos de cada país que representa.

arena en mi memoria... sand in my memory

Atrás quedaron los días con olor a eucaliptos y el aroma de las jaras, el pescado a la parrilla, los paseos en bicicleta por el monte, disfrutar del sol en esas calas entre cortados de piedra, playas de aguas bravas. Los atardeceres  alrededor de unas cervezas, esperando que caiga la noche para seguir compartiendo risas y momentos mágicos que perduraran en nuestra memoria por tiempo, esa memoria que se ido completando de recuerdos y buenos momentos a los que volver cuando tengamos nostalgia o nos encontremos agobiados. 

Este año las vacaciones de verano las pase en el Alentejo, en Portugal, una zona de playa donde aun esta por explotar el turismo, donde predominan los pueblos pequeños, las calles estrechas con casas bajas encaladas y con frisos azules, donde el estrés, los hoteles llenos de gente chillando y las urbes masificadas destacan por su ausencia. Si no conocéis esta zona de Portugal os recomiendo que busquéis unos días y os escapéis a conocer esta zona.

The days with smell of eucalyptus and  the scent of cistus are gone, grilled fish, bike rides through the woods, enjoying the sun in the bays between cut stone, wild water beaches. The sunsets around a beer, waiting for nightfall to continue sharing laughter and magic moments that will stay in our memory for time, that memory is gone completing memories and good times to come back when we find ourselves homesick or overwhelmed.


This summer I've been summer holidays in the Alentejo in Portugal, a beach area which is still untapped tourism, predominantly small towns with narrow streets and low whitewashed houses with blue friezes, where stress, hotels full of people screaming and overcrowded cities noted for their absence. If you do not know this area of ​​Portugal I recommend you seek and you might escape a few days to explore this area.

La base de operaciones estaba ubicada entre pinos y palmeras donde el único ruido alrededor era el de los cucos y pajarillos por las mañanas, los grillos al atardecer y algún que otro esporádico ladrido. Una casa solariega en medio del campo, rodeada de vegetación al resguardo de unas buganvillas.   

The base of operations was located among pine trees and palm trees where the only noise around was that of the cuckoos and birds in the morning, crickets at dusk and some other occasional bark. A manor house in the countryside, surrounded by greenery in the shelter of a bougainvillea.

A solo 5 minutos en coche, o un poquito mas andando se encuentra la playa de Alteirihnos, una playa con cortados que hacen de barreras naturales ofreciendo pequeñas calas dentro de la misma playa, la zona mas tranquila de esta playa esta al fondo de la misma, ademas es una zona naturista, cuando la marea esta baja, hay un paso que nos conduce a otra cala mas apartada.

Only 5 minute drive, or a little more walking you have Alteirihnos Beach, a beach with natural cuts barriers that make small coves offering within the same beach, the quieter area of the beach is at the bottom of it , also is a naturist area when the tide is low, there is a passage that leads to another more secluded cove.

La zona esta rodeada de pueblos y calas con mucho encanto, lo que ha servido para poder descubrir otros lugares cercanos. En la localidad de Vila Nova de Milfontes, después de comer en un chiringuito con la playa enfrente, junto al Farol de Milfontes , pude disfrutar de una tarde en la playa de las Furnas, una curiosidad de este sitio es la sinergia entre la desembocadura del rió Mira, el cual da nombre a la zona Odemira y la playa. Una vez desplazado hasta aquí aproveche el día cenando en una taberna de pescadores un arroz de marisco.

The area is surrounded by villages and charming coves, which has helped to find other places nearby. In the town of Vila Nova de Milfontes, after eating at a beach bar with beach in front, next to Farol de Milfontes, could enjoy an afternoon on the beach of the Furnas, a curiosity of this site is the synergy between the end of the Mira  river, which names the Odemira area and the beach area. Once moved to this town I've had a great  dinner here in a fishermen tavern.

Un poco mas al norte de Vilanova de Milfontes se encuentra el pueblo de Porto Covo, un pueblo con mucha vida y muy animado, toda la vida gira entorno a una calle central, para llegar a unas pequeñas calas al final del pueblo. Como podéis ver en la imágenes se tratan de unas playas muy poco masificadas.

A little way to the north of Vilanova de Milfontes village we find the village of Porto Covo, a town full of life and very vibrant, life revolves around a central street to reach a small coves at the end of the village. As you can see in the images are a very un-crowded beaches.

Uno de los lugares mas enigmáticos de la zona es Cabo Sardao, donde poder disfrutar de unas maravillosas puestas de sol a los pies de los acantilados donde las gaviotas son las reinas y señoras del lugar, podréis ver su vuelo a contra luz, una experiencia preciosa.

One of the most enigmatic places in the area is Cabo Sardao, where you can enjoy wonderful sunsets at the foot of the cliffs where the gulls are the queens and ladies of the place, you can see their flight against the light, a beautiful experience.

Justo al final de la zona de Odemira por el sur se encuentra el pueblo de Odeceixe, a orillas del río Ceixe, la desembocadura de este río se junta con la playa, entre ambos se abre una lengua de tierra que ofrece dos playas en un mismo espacio, una fluvial y una marítima.

Just down Odemira area to the south is the village of Odeceixe along the Ceixe river, the mouth of this river meets the beach, between them opens a spit of land that offers two beaches in the same space, a river beach and sea one.

Siguiendo mas hacia el sur y con la idea de disfrutar de las playas de Doña Ana y Camilo en la población de Lagos, ya en el Algarve portugues, las playas son preciosas, con aguas turquesas y mas calmadas que las playas de el Alentejo, realmente son unas playas magnificas, el único inconveniente a esta playas son las gran masificación de las mismas, para conocerlas no estuvo mal, aunque me quedo con las playas del Alentejo que están menos concurridas.

Following further to the south and with the idea of enjoying the beaches of Dona Ana and Camilo in the town of Lagos, in the Portuguese Algarve, the beaches are beautiful with turquoise waters and calmer than the beaches of the Alentejo, really are some magnificent beaches, the only downside to this beaches are the great mass of them, to know them was not bad, although I prefer Alentejo beaches that are less crowded.

papeles de colores...color papers

Como alguno ya sabes estas vacaciones he pasado por Portugal y en una de esas excursiones estuve en Braga, ciudad que me sorprendió mucho, tanto por su centro historico, el cuidadisimo escaparatismo y la elegancia de las tiendas.Otro aspecto que me sedujo fue los llamativos envoltorios de estos los artículos.

Some of you know already I've spend a few days in Portugal and in one of these excursions was the city of Braga, a city that really surprised me,  its historical center, and shops very  elegance even in the windows show and the items  quality.Other aspect that attracted me was the flashy packaging of these articles.

Ya por si solo el chocolate es una de mis debilidades, y si viene presentado en estos envoltorios es difícil resistirse a pegarle un mordisco.


The chocolate is one of my weaknesses, and if is presented in these wrappers is hard to resist hitting a bite.

Jose Gourmet, es una empresa dedicada a distribuir productos de alta calidad procedentes de Portugal, desde licores, aceites, conservas y mermeladas, a mi me llamaron mucho la atención es cuidadisimo packaging.

Jose Antonio Tenente ha creado una colección de fragancias para el hogar y jabones con un llamativo nombre "amor perfeito".

adios a la playa... goodby summer

Lamentablemente los días de descanso siempre saben a poco y pasan volando, ahora toca volver a la normalidad, aquí os dejo unas impresiones del viaje, he estado conociendo algo de tierras gallegas y de Portugal.

Los primeros días los pase en A Coruña y la playa de Valdaio y Doniños en Ferrol, de camino a la playa pase por Puentedeume, un pueblo con muchísimo encanto. En la ciudad de Coruña en la zona de las Xubias, os recomiendo un restaurante en una casita de pescadores con una terraza con unas vistas espectaculares a la playa de Santa Cristina.

Unfortunately the holidays always are shorter as we want and past them so fast, now it's time to go back to normal life, here are some impressions of the trip, I've been knowing something of Galicia and Portugal.

The first days I´ve been in A Coruna and Valdaio and Doniños beaches in Ferrol, on the way to Doniños beach passes. I've stopped at Puentedeume, a town with great charm. In the city of La Coruna in the area of Xubias, I would like to recommend you a restaurant in a little fishing  house with a terrace with spectacular views to the Santa Cristina beach.

Después de tres días en Coruña como os comente en la publicación anterior, baje a la Provincia de Pontevedra, a Cangas de Morrazo y la playas cercanas en este caso la playa de Barra, las playas de las islas Cies entre otras.

After three days in La Coruña as you know for a previous post, I spend a few days at  of Pontevedra, Cangas and the nearby beaches, specially at Barra beach and the beaches of the Cies Islands among others.

Lo único que tiene el destino es que no tienes la seguridad del bueno tiempo, a falta de buen tiempo y días de playa, los días de nubes han sido igual de productivos en cuanto a viajes culturales por los alrededores, desde Pontevedra capital, la Isla de la Toja, O Grove, Baiona. Ya en el interior Ribadavia.


The unique inconvenience of this destiantion is that  the weather is not a secure value. lack of good weather and beach days, the days of clouds have been just as productive in terms of cultural trips around, Pontevedra capital, La Toja island, O Grove, Baiona and Ribadavia.

Tambien ha habido tiempo para acercarse hasta Portugal, Valença, Caminha, la iglesia de  Sta Luzia en Viana do Castelo, Oporto y Braga.

It has also been time to go to Portugal, Valença, Caminha, the church of Santa Luzia in Viana do Castelo, Porto and Braga.

Me gustaría aprovechar este espacio para dar las gracias a todas las personas que estuvieron a mi lado estos días de descanso y propiciaron que fueran tan especiales, besos y abrazos a todos.
