J.W.Anderson x UNIQLO

Ahora que la firma japonesa Uniqlo va a desembarcar en España, rival en el low cost de Zara y H&M, se anuncia la colaboración de J.W. Anderson director creativo y responsable del rejuvenecimiento de la firma Loewe desde 2013.

La coleccion se pondrá a la venta el próximo otoño que va a coincidir con la apertura de la primera tienda de la firma en España en este caso será en la ciudad de Barcelona, por lo que si eres de la zona o tienes pensado visitar la ciudad en esa fecha no debe perderte esta colaboración.

El único inconveniente será que viendo la gran aceptación de publico con este tipo de colaboraciones tenemos como referencia las colecciones cápsula de H&M (Balmain, Alexander Wang o Isabel Marant entre otros) será complicado hacerse con alguna de las prendas.

Estaremos atentos a la colección.

eat, eat, eat....and drink

El agua esta de moda y vende, las grandes productoras de agua embotellada apuestan por la innovación y colaboración en ediciones limitadas para hacer mas atractivo el packaging, de todos es conocida las ediciones limitadas de Evian, como podéis ver aquí y aquí, o Pellegrino, como podéis ver aquí. Hoy me gustaría mostraros lo que hacen nuestros diseñadores con el agua mas conocida dentro de nuestras fronteras, hace tiempo Loewe participo en este proyecto y  siguiendo la misma linea del perfume de Agua de Loewe, también ha sido utilizado este diseño en tamaño XXL para Solan de Cabras. En esta iniciativa también han participado Duyos, Ana Locking o el cantante Nacho Cano.

esparto de lujo...luxury espadrilles

Estoy encantado de que llegue el buen tiempo y empezar a usar unos de los zapatos que mas abuso en verano, se tratan de las zapatillas de esparto, anteriormente en el blog os he hablado de ellos como podéis ver aquí y aquí.

En la publicación de hoy me gustaría mostraros las opciones del quien da mas, las opciones mas elitistas, mas elevadas de precio que hay en el mercado, las grandes firmas se suben al carro del esparto, y apuestan por este tipo de zapatillas tan estacionales, a mi personalmente con la poca vida que tienen este tipo de zapato me daría mucha pena usar cualquiera de estas opciones.

El comienzo de semana os comentaba el exposición que la casa Louis Vuitton había realizado en la ciudad de Milán para mostrar las ultimas creaciones object nomades. 

De todos es bien sabido que firmas y marcas de moda tienen un apartado dedicado al hogar, piezas que distinguen y dan elegancia a diferentes ambientes. 

Ahora le toca el turno a Jonathan Anderson que desde que se ha hecho cargo como director creativo de la Loewe, esta rejuveneciendo la casa, desde el logo, como la creación de la colección pret a porter mucho mas desenfadada, atractiva y juvenil, que se puso a la venta en las tiendas Loewe esta primavera-verano. Ahora nos muestra una colección de piezas para el hogar, una colección exclusiva de tres series de 50 bowls realizados en piel, en diferentes tamaños. En la cual se aúnan la visión de Anderson con las técnicas y conocimientos de generación en generación de artesanos de la ciudad de Ubrique. 
Piezas que a simple vista engañan a nuestro sentido, haciéndonos  creer que estamos viendo una pieza de cerámica cuando en realidad son piezas de una gran calidez al tacto al estar realizadas en piel. 

Si estas en Madrid o eres de Madrid podrás disfrutar de esta exposición en la casa matriz de la firma hasta el día 14 de mayo, después se expondrá en ciudades como Miami, París o Barcelona.

Pieces that at first sight confuse our sense deceive you into believing that we are seeing a piece of pottery when they are actually pieces of a great warmth to the touch as they are made of leather.

parecidos razonables....looks alike

Estamos en época de conciertos y festivales, días de disfrutar de excursiones y escapadas, días para estar con amigos, siempre solemos llevar alguna cosa mas de la cuenta, y con la idea de vaciar nuestros bolsillos e ir cómodos, nada mejor que una mochila cómoda y ligera, donde llevar todas nuestras pertenencias.

La publicación no es para mostraros la gran cantidad de opciones que tenemos en este tipo de complementos sino para mostraros el gran parecido que existe entre la opción de Loewe al precio de 990€ y la opción low cost que nos ofrece Zara al precio de 22,15€.

Ya solo queda que decidas que color se ajusta y te va mas y cuanto quieres gastar, con cualquiera de las dos vas a poder disfrutar con comodidad de cualquier actividad que vayas a realizar, o para el día a día y no cargar los bolsillos y llevar todo a mano.

loewe aborda america....loewe takes over usa

Esta semana se ha inaugurado la primera tienda de la firma española Loewe en Estados Unidos, para esta apertura Loewe se ha instalado en la ciudad de Miami, mas concretamente en el Design Distric.

El espacio minimalista en su máxima expresión, con espacios muy abiertos y paredes blancas alberga en su interior un hórreo gallego, llevado piedra desde un pequeño pueblo gallego, como pieza central del espacio, como única decoración que hacen de mesas, unas laminas de cristal que descansan sobre unas estructuras de hierro. 

Cultura, arte y tradición contrastan con las piezas iconicas de la firma como pueden ser el Amazona o Flamenco con la nuevas propuestas creadas por el diseñador Jonathan Anderson.

This week has opened the first store of the Spanish brand Loewe in the United States for this opening Loewe has been installed in the city of Miami, more specifically in the Design Distric.

The minimalist space at its finest, with wide open spaces and white walls housed inside a Galician granary, stone taken from a small Galician town, as the centerpiece of space, only decoration that make tables, a laminated glass rest on iron structures.

Culture, art and tradition contrast with the iconic signature pieces such as the Amazon or Flamenco with new proposals created by designer Jonathan Anderson.

amor secreto...secret love

Acabamos de salir del fin de semana del amor y San Valentin ha pasado por nuestro lado, desde aquí me gustaría dar la enhorabuena a todos aquellos y aquellas en los que cupido ha hecho acto de presencia y han tenido la suerte de que sus flechas os hayan obsequiado con unos bonitos regalos y detalles, aunque no hay nada mejor que pasarlo junto a las personas que queremos y apreciamos, preparando las publicaciones sobre este tema que colgué a lo largo de la semana pasada, he detectado, bueno ya lo llevaba observando tiempo atrás, es la utilización de candados cada vez mas identificados como muestra de amor, nada mejor que echar un vistazo a alguna reja o barandilla de ciudades tan asociadas con el amor como puede ser Verona (en la casa de Julieta) o París (en el puente de Solferino).

Lo que no se es de donde viene esta asociación entre candados y amor, para mi es un poco contradictoria, un candado representa hermetismo, impenetrable, posesión y falto de libertad, para mi el amor es libertad y respecto con la persona que esta a nuestro lado. Aunque también puede significar misterio por lo que pueda albergar. Bueno después de esta reflexión. ¿cual creéis que es la relación entre un candado y el amor? Muchas son las marcas y firmas que han incluido esta simbología entre sus colecciones.

tendencia geometrica...geometric trend

Este invierno las formas geométricas y el origami están de tendencia. Esta tradición y arte japones de ir doblando y plegando  papel sin utilización de tijeras para crear formas florales, fauna o elementos de la vida diaria. Son el nexo de conexión del nuevo bolso de Purificación García llamado un Mar de Líos y el bolso Puzzle de Loewe, aunque para este ultimo no es algo nuevo ya que esta ultima apuesta es una versión del bolso origami que presento el pasado verano.

el color del invierno...winter color

Hace unos meses coincidiendo con la semana de la moda de Nueva York, la cual esta en plena ebullición y nos esta mostrando todo lo que vestiremos la próxima primavera verano,  se presento también la paleta de colores para este invierno realizada por Pantone. Esta publicación es para que vayamos adelantándonos y preparando lo que empezaremos a vestir este mismo invierno.

A few months ago to coincide with Fashion Week in New York, which is in full swing and is showing us everything what  we wear next spring summer, the color palette for this winter by Pantone is also presented. This publication is for getting ahead and go start preparing what to wear this winter. 

Este invierno se presenta como un invierno unisex en lo que a colores se refiere. En las colecciones masculinas de esta temporada también se inspiran  en la necesidad de explorar que resultado de un uso más aventurero del color, especialmente a través de combinaciones y contrastes de tonos otoñales mas tradicionales con colores inesperados.

This winter is presented as a unisex winter as far as colors are concerned. Con nombres bastante poéticos como Sangría, Aurora Red, Radiant Orchid o  Sea Fog van a inundar las calles, desde ropa deportiva a zapatos, nuestro estado de animo se va a representar este invierno en estos colores. Colores muy otoñales, que si fuéramos a  cualquier tienda a pedir una camisa color Sangría nos mirarían de arriba a abajo como si nos hubiéramos vuelto locos, en cambio acertaríamos si pedimos prendas de color burdeos, otro de los colores estrella es Radiant Orchid, morado o  berenjena, el mostaza también va estar muy presente, color que aporta optimismo a los meses fríos.

un chico bueno...a good boy

Lo primero de todo, disculpas por haber estado un poco ausente esta semana del blog, ha sido una semana complicada y ademas también ha coincidido con mi cumpleaños, y me ha mantenido mas ocupado del lo normal, hoy me gustaría compartir con vosotros parte de los regalos que he recibido por este motivo, ademas también  podéis ver un pequeño rincón de mi hogar, donde he reconvertido un mueble bajo de cajones en una zona de lectura.

First of all I would like to apologies for being a bit absent from the blog this week,  has been a difficult week and also has coincided with my birthday, and has kept me more busy than normal, today I would like to share with you some of the gifts I've received for this reason, plus you also can see a little corner of my home, where I have converted low chest of drawers in a reading area.

Como habéis podido observar, he debido ser un buen chico y me he  debido  portar muy bien, he recibido bastantes regalitos, por los cuales he estoy muy agradecido y contento, entre ellos un chaleco de plumas azul y sweater amarillo de Purificación García, camisa de cuadros de Boss, Zapatillas marrón chocolate y amarillo de New Balance (parece que se han puesto de acuerdo para coordinar todas las prendas), sudadera gris con logo en el pecho de Loewe, y por ultimo y no menos importante cinturón Damier Graphite con iniciales de Louis Vuitton.

As you have seen, I have had to be a good guy, I have received many gifts, for which I am grateful and happy, including a blue feathers vest and yellow sweater by Purification Garcia , a Hugo Boss plaid shirt, dark brown and yellow trainers by New Balance (seems to have agreed to coordinate all garments), Loewe gray sweatshirt whith logo on chest, and last but not least Louis Vuitton initials Damier Graphite belt.
